Commissioning from L1 to L5

Commissioning programmes require a structured progression from installation and component verification to functional testing and fully integrated performance demonstrations. The exact level definitions and scope must be aligned with the project commissioning specification.

Integrated Systems Testing (IST)

IST evaluates how interconnected systems respond to defined operational and failure scenarios, including the interfaces among electrical power, cooling, automation and monitoring.

Black Building Testing (BBT)

BBT is a carefully planned and controlled test of facility response to loss of incoming power, including transfer sequences, generator response, UPS autonomy, critical loads and system recovery, as applicable to the approved test script.
